Multnomah's dungeon dweller redesigns institution's web site

A recent Multnomah graduate, Davin Studer, is now controlling the institution's cyber world as the new web master.

Studer, who works up to 40 hours a week in the Information Systems Department (also known as the "dungeon"), switched this summer from student to staff. He has redesigned both the online community intranet and the public internet.

After a summer of updating Multnomah's web site, Studer points out that students now have one-click access to every department on the site. Studer describes this feature to be a convenience that many overlook while browsing the site.

"I am not a photographer," the 24- year-old said as a disclaimer to a recent display of digital photos he took for the web site. Although he does not claim to be the best at taking pictures, Studer's talents stretch far within and beyond the entrance to the "dungeon."

In addition to his role at ISD, Studer has used his musical abilities as a member of MBC's Destiny. He traveled with the team to Hawaii this past summer and is curious to see what this year will bring.

Studer's leisure time is often spent reading sci-fi-fantasy novels. He enjoys escaping to fictional lands after staring at a computer monitor for the day. He also enjoys off-road biking.
