Memory said students regard certain actions as being more "spiritual" or "Christ-like" than others, such as going to church or being in the middle of worship at chapel. Memory said students can just as easily demonstrate Christ-likeness in doing recreational activities such as throwing a Frisbee or hiking on Mt. Hood. Vice president Bryce Wescott agreed a Christ-like demeanor in extracurricular activities is important. But his personal goal is to make Stugo members' responsibilities something they will want to do, not something they feel like they have to do. "We have a going joke in Stugo that the vice president position is really just a lackey. But really I want to watch out for these guys in Stugo and make sure they're taking care of themselves," Wescott said. Stugo adviser David Groom said that not only should Stugo's goals be to set the example in actions, but also they are serving as representatives of the student body.
