A-Frame reopens

After years of being used as classroom space, the A-Frame is re-opening as a student center. The A-Frame is open from 7 a.m. to 1 a.m. daily. Because the A-Frame is no longer available for classes, some students and their professors meet at Central Bible Church.

This year's Stugo president, Dave Odell, said he has some big plans for the A-Frame. He plans to change the atmosphere by adding a TV, VCR, pool table and stereo system. Odell also plans to change the layout. Instead of one big room, the A-Frame will be divided into sections by furniture. Odell hopes to create a new Stugo position: A-Frame coordinator.

Last year's Stugo president Tim Uthmann, Dean Bob Bailey, and Dr. Wayne Strickland, along with the academic dean's council, made the decision to place the A-Frame back in the hands of the students.

Stugo is looking for parents of students and alumni who would be willing to donate items such as a pool table or couches to the A-Frame. Stugo will also accept monetary donations.
