Master of Arts in Counseling 2018-19 Course Layout

Licensure

Students who complete the 60-credit MAC degree program will meet the current education requirements for licensure in Oregon as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). The is designed to provide a high-quality training experience in counseling incorporating a strong practical emphasis and an interdisciplinary perspective based on biblical, theological and ethical concerns.

Accreditation

The MAC program is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCUU) and has been approved by the State of Oregon as a graduate program approved for licensure.

Applying to the MAC program

To apply, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Be a graduate with a B.S. or B.A. from a regionally accredited college or university
  • Have a cumulative GPA of 3.00
  • Submit the application with all required forms
