This intensive helps actuate missiological convictions into a local context by unveiling personal bias’s and dissecting the relationship between Gospel, Church, and Culture. Attention is given to comparing generational articulations and responses to the Gospel.

MDM 614M Cultural Exegesis: Semiotics & Redemptive Cultural Windows for Biblical Mission (3)

Identifying redemptive windows in the domains of a post-Christian society, this course is about reading cultural signs that can reveal future realities and how leaders can call culture to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Attention given to the movement toward a post-atheist culture.

This intensive will guide students toward an ecclesiology that nurtures and disciples people into being a more faithful witness of Jesus Christ. Emphasis is on creatively leading others into a biblical understanding of the Church, her nature, purpose, and mission.

MDM 634M Spiritual Formation of the Leader: Leading into Wholeness in the Mission of God (3)

Focus is placed on the personal wholeness of the leader and on providing a framework for moving their community purposefully toward health. Discussion covers the foundations of the leader, ministry maturity, life maturity, and finishing well.
