Heidi grew up in Minnesota and earned her B.A. in Communication Studies from Gustavus Adolphus College. After graduation, she decided to take a gap year and move to Portland in what was supposed to be a 9-month stint that has turned into five years. Heidi has been a part of the Multnomah University community since 2017. She says, “I am continually impressed by our students, faculty, and fellow staff in the ways they each bring their own gifts and personality to this campus. It truly is a community like no other!”
Heidi highly recommends the chai latte from MU’s very own Roger’s Café. She also suggests making the drive to the Oregon Coast, getting lost in Powell’s Books, or grabbing a Kati Roll from Bollywood Theater.
