Multnomah’s new outdoor athletic facility will include a regulation-size artificial turf field, grandstands for spectators, and a digital scoreboard. Lights will be added in a subsequent phase, pending permits. Designed for the heart of the Multnomah campus, between Lytle Gymnasium and Memorial Hall, the venue will serve as the permanent on-campus home for Lions soccer and Multnomah’s newly announced lacrosse teams. The field will also be used by the broader university community for intramural sports, fitness and recreation activities, and many other student life programs and university events.

Project Funding

The $1.3 million project was funded entirely through the generosity of countless alumni, parents, and friends as part of Multnomah’s recently completed $20.7 million As God Leads Campaign.

Pray for the Project

We believe that athletics are a powerful tool to speak into the lives of students, to teach them powerful lessons about leadership, teamwork, and faith, and to equip them to be a transforming force in the church, community, and the world. As such, it is our fervent prayer that God will use this field, and the many events that take place on it, to draw our students, their parents, campus visitors, and many others into a deeper love relationship with himself.

Please join us in praying that this new athletic field will be the site of powerful ministry and many encounters with the Savior in the years to come.
