APPLICATION FOR BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN AVIATION

Multnomah University, in partnership with Hillsboro Aero Academy (HAA), is proud to offer the opportunity to earn a Bachelor of Science in Aviation. This hybrid program will be completed partially online and partially on the ground in the Portland metro area. For more information about which classes will be taken online through Multnomah University and which classes will be conducted at the HAA flight school, please view the course layout here.

As part of this partnership, a student must be accepted to both Multnomah University and Hillsboro Aero Academy in order to proceed with the program as designed. Upon completion of the Multnomah application, you will be emailed a link to the HAA application, should you need to complete that step. The HAA application involves elements to verify your physical fitness for flying a plane.

Multnomah University is a Christian university, and a portion of the coursework required to earn a bachelor's degree from Multnomah involves taking Bible and theology courses. However, because of our partnership with Hillsboro Aero Academy, the Bachelor of Science in Aviation will be conducted under our open enrollment policy, meaning you do not have to be a professing Christian in order to join the program. However, you will be asked to abide by the policies and community standards in our Student Handbook while in attendance at Multnomah.

Multnomah University welcomes students from a variety of denominational backgrounds. The University holds to a short list of doctrinal articles. Though it does not require students to be in agreement with all points, it is important that you be familiar with the university's doctrinal statement, found at www.multnomah.edu/about/doctrinal-statement.

Criminal or Disciplinary Disclosure & Authorization to Release Information

Because you indicated that you have a civil or criminal indictment, conviction, history and/or disciplinary action on this application, you will be asked to complete a background check once all of your application materials are received and processed.

A previous disciplinary action, conviction, indictment or prosecution may not automatically bar an applicant from admissions to the university. We request that the applicant provide the Admissions Office permission to obtain a background check (at no cost to the student).

Hidden Fields

While being a citizen of another country does not automatically preclude you from admission to Multnomah's Bachelor of Science in Aviation program, it is very rare for the U.S. government to award a student visa to a student in an online program. For more information about your options, please contact your MU Admissions Counselor or email admissions@multnomah.edu.
