I became a Christian at 16. My Christian friends and youth pastors helped instruct and encourage me through my teenage years and supported me through the experience of the divorce of my parents. Later on, when challenged to attend seminary and consider ministry as a full-time vocation with youth, God would use these past relationships and experiences to shape my future by investing in the lives of young people. I am a graduate of Western Seminary and have worked on the ministry staff of several churches in the areas of Youth and Children’s Ministries and Women’s Ministries.
In 1989, I married Randy Glanz. We have one daughter, Julia. Shortly after Julia was born, I began what is now known as Women’s Youth Network, a fellowship of professional women in youth ministry in the Portland–Vancouver area who meet regularly for prayer, networking and professional growth. I have been teaching at Multnomah Biblical Seminary since 1999 and at Multnomah University since 2001 in the areas of Discipleship, Women’s and Educational Ministries. I have a passion for Christ and to encourage others to follow Him in the next step of obedience.
