Booking a Space

Multnomah University facilities are available to the public for events throughout the year.  We seek to intentionally partner with nonprofit and community organizations whose purpose aligns with the Mission and Vision of Multnomah University.

Please note: All external event requests must be submitted at least five business days prior to the event start date.

Event Facilities

Our auditoriums offer multi-media capabilities including:

  • Video
  • Multimedia podium; document camera, computer, DVD/VCR
  • Audio/sound system
  • Video/audio hookup for laptops
  • Recording capabilities (along with satellite access)

Classrooms can also be considered meeting spaces, and the current seating pattern of each classroom can easily be rearranged to accommodate the needs of your group/event.

The capacity for each of our classrooms is dependent upon table and chair seating, chair-only seating, or standing room only. The capacities listed below are based on table and chair seating.

The dining facility in the Joseph C. Aldrich Student Center is a versatile space that can accommodate many different events or activities: dining arrangements, banquets, chapel sessions, weddings, receptions, concerts…the possibilities are nearly endless!

Standing room only capacity: 583

The campus grounds are beautiful year-round and are used for many events. The field next to the gym is currently wide open and often used for soccer, ultimate frisbee, or large picnic events. The green space between Travis-Lovitt Hall and Bradley Hall has a wooden deck area that can be used as a stage or a meeting place.

The Lytle Gymnasium contains two basketball courts and a weight room. It can be used for banquets, concerts, and sporting events.

Catering, Housing, & Parking

In addition to our many event facilities on campus, we also offer catering, housing, and parking options. We are here to help with each detail to make sure your event is a success and you feel right at home.

Parking permits for your event can be obtained prior to your event. Contact the Event Scheduling Manager at (503) 251-5375 or scheduling@multnomah.edu to make arrangements.

You may park in any designated stall in any parking lot except for:

  • Reserved parking (Staff, Faculty)
  • President
  • Visitor
  • Timed spots
  • Motor Pool
  • “Reserved for”
  • Prospective Students
  • Parking in disabled parking spaces requires a valid disabled placard or license plates issued by any state.

Do not park or unload in fire lanes or landscaped areas.
