Jill Vacanti, a Rochester, NY native, played lacrosse at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, where she served as a team captain while earning Atlantic 10 All Conference and All Rookie honors throughout her 4 years. Vacanti ranks within the top 10 leading scorers in Duquesne history, as well as the top 10 number of career starts in school history having started every game within her 4-year career there. Jill brings over 8 years of coaching experience to Multnomah. She coached for elite lacrosse programs in Upstate New York, high school programs across New York, Pennsylvania, and Portland, and currently coaches the Elite team for locally owned premier lacrosse club Lax NW. She came to Multnomah to start the first women’s lacrosse program in school history and is eager to continue the growth of the game throughout the Pacific Northwest.
Vacanti is originally from the east coast, but currently resides in Portland with her two dogs, Ranger and Ryder. In her spare time, she enjoys sneaker shopping, watching binge-worthy tv, and hanging out with her dogs.
