Professor Kristyn Kidney’s teaching career has taken her to a variety of places all over the world and allowed her to dialogue with diverse learners from a variety of cultures and contexts. She has taught English in Japan, US universities, US public schools, and private language schools. In 2008, she moved to Portland where she had the privilege of teaching community refugees, immigrants, and international university students. She loves teaching English, not because she loves English, but because she loves students. Teaching allows her to serve students, build and establish relationships, and engage in multicultural dialogue. At Multnomah University she delights in the privilege of mentoring English language teachers during their season of study and preparation.
