At Multnomah, I’ve chosen to work in the field of Student Success because I love being a part of the student development process. Working with students to identify their strengths and growth opportunities is a great joy and privilege. I’m a developer by nature, so being able to work along side students and see their growth and learning is a really exciting thing.
During my undergrad, I studied Cultural Anthropology and Sociology. I also was a student leader with the Office of Leadership & Transition for three years, helping with New Student Orientation. I’m currently working on my M.Ed. in Student Affairs at Regent University.
In my spare time, I love to travel, eat good food, and spend time at the beach. That being said, my ideal day is spent in a new place, at a warm tropical beach, eating amazing food.
Portland has so many cool things to do. To me, it’s a perfect city because it is big enough to have all the exciting things that the city life has to offer, but it’s small enough that it’s not uncommon to run into people that you know. As stated earlier, I love to eat, so my favorite things to do in Portland are trying new restaurants and returning to my favorites. So far, some of my favorite places are: Portland City Grill, Joy Poke, Cibo, Meeka Sushi, Petite Provence, Townshend’s Teahouse, and Salt & Straw.
