Hired in 2002
I’m completely confident that God desired that I teach at Multnomah. Prior to being hired, my entire interaction with the school had been to drop off a resume a year before I graduated from doctoral studies. Then, on the eve of my doctoral graduation, out of the blue and almost a year later I received an inquiry about my availability for a teaching interview. I was psyched! Within a few weeks, I had been hired and have thanked God for such a blessing ever since. The timing was perfect, and teaching Bible has been wonderful!
I’ve written 2 books which are both published by Wipf and Stock publishers. They are “When God Says ‘No‘ – Reshaping Prayer and Learning to Listen” is an examination of how to make our prayers more meaningful and authentic. “Of Man and Animals” is a small collection of short stories written just for fun.
I’ve always enjoyed music, reading, and being physically fit. Consequently, I’ve tried to pare my hobbies down to those three areas.
In Portland, Flying Pie has great pizza…well worth the visit!
