Before joining the faculty at Multnomah University, I spent almost 20 years working in business, primarily in marketing. While I’m originally from the Northwest, my career began in San Diego, where I marketed a property management company before joining the staff at Point Loma Nazarene University in graduate admissions. Later I joined the corporate marketing team at PETCO Animals Supplies, where I worked in field marketing and then managed the sports marketing program. Then I moved to the corporate office of Jack in the Box restaurants, where I led a team of marketing managers who made media buying decisions for various markets. Most recently I directed marketing for an executive coaching company.
I earned my undergraduate degree from Northwest Nazarene University and enjoyed the experience of being at a Christian liberal arts institution with small class sizes and caring professors. The love of my undergraduate experience was a big part of the draw to Multnomah University. My M.B.A. is from the University of California, Irvine. During my M.B.A. program, I also studied at the Vienna University of Economics and Business.
Beyond my time at Multnomah, I am married and have three grown stepkids. Together my husband and I enjoy international travel and attending Timbers soccer matches. My husband and I met through and attend Imago Dei Community Church where we’re involved with the children’s program. In my spare time, you might find me running, biking, or hiking. I’ve participated in a number of half-marathons and competed twice in the Hood to Coast relay. I’ve also hiked the Inca Trail, Half Dome, and the Tour du Mont Blanc. I enjoy classical music and play a few instruments including piano, oboe, and harp.
