The Lord led me to Multnomah to serve students and to foster changes that would allow us to become a place where all students can feel a sense of belonging.
My professional background is in coaching and counseling. I have earned my B.S. in Human Development, my M.A. in Human Services, and my Ph.D. in Christian Counseling. I’ve owned my own coaching practice for almost a decade, and I love helping people and organizations get “unstuck”.
In 2013 I published my first book, “Between a Rock and a Scarred Place: Relationship Recovery for Hurting Hearts” (Just Living Today, 2013).
I love to read nonfiction books, and I’m constantly learning. I also enjoy singing and music. My favorite place in the world is my home, which I share with my daughters and my husband. I love going to Welches, Oregon, with my family. The beautiful mountain views — and quiet atmosphere — are my favorite. In the city, my husband and I love going to Portland City Grill for the amazing food and stunning views of Portland.
I have great hope for the future because I see God moving at Multnomah. He’s refining us and calling us to a more complete picture of the kingdom of heaven. It’s hard and messy and beautiful.
