Pastors and church leaders regularly interact with individuals who experience mental health-related distress in a Christian ministry context. For that reason, we offer a unique, Lay Counseling Certificate designed specifically for those who would like to be better equipped to work with individuals and groups in their ministries without pursuing a professional counseling license at this time. This hybrid certificate program features an on-campus workshop and online coursework.
