Aramark Food Service Opens in Student Commons

1/12/2004

ARAMARK and Multnomah Bible College and Seminary have partnered to ensure that dining options on campus exceed student expectations.

ARAMARK's new Real Food on Campus officially opened in the Student Commons on January 4, 2004.

ARAMARK's Real Food on Campus offers a restaurant where students and faculty can be a part of what's happening. Diners can watch the chef prepare and present their meal in a colorful, appetizing and exciting setting. The RFoC dining room in the Student Commons will show its merit as both an eating and meeting place.

Multnomah changed food services in order to offer students, staff and faculty more options for their dining experience. The RFoC menu meets this goal by featuring classics such as cheeseburgers and fries and new selections from The Produce Market where a chef will create a personalized sauté with ingredients students select. Best of all, it will happen right in front of their eyes.

Students living off campus can also purchase meal plans. A 25-meal plan costs $125 and a 50-meal plan costs $237.50. ARAMARK also offers a flex plan. Students can deposit money into an account that can be used in the cafeteria and the Solid Rock Cafe. Initial deposits of more than $100 earn a 5 percent bonus from ARAMARK. Deposits over $300 earn a 10 percent bonus.
