Youth workers from around the nation will visit Multnomah's campus July 6-26 for the Young Life New Staff Training Conference. Approximately 200 participants are expected to attend this year's event.
This marks the fourth consecutive year that Multnomah has hosted the conference, providing both housing and meals for participants.
"The young lifers enjoy our campus because of its beauty and they like the fact that they have easy access to downtown," says Katie Voigt, Multnomah's Summer Event Coordinator.
Multnomah's grounds provide many places for the conference participants to spend time alone or in small groups worshiping the Lord and discussing His word.
Voigt admits the conference is not only beneficial to Young Life, but it is positive exposure for Multnomah as well. Many participants return home to share their experiences with friends and family.
