Virtual New Student Registration Week
We are so excited for you to join the Multnomah Family! As an incoming residential undergraduate student, Virtual New Student Registration Week will help you prepare for your first semester.
You’re invited to attend one of two week-long events on May 11th-16th or June 8th-12th where we will provide personalized guidance to help you register, pay for college, and more. Then, join us for a live webinar to ask additional questions, connect with your faculty advisor, and get to know other students in your major. Ask your parents to join as we have something special planned for them as well.
RSVP to attend our live webinar on Saturday, May 16th at 11:00am (PST) or Friday, June 12th at 11:00am (PST): CLICK HERE TO REGISTER.
We’ve created a checklist for you to complete during Virtual New Student Registration Week. BEFORE YOU JOIN US FOR THE LIVE WEBINAR, make sure you’ve completed the items in the checklist below:

After you register, the Office of the Registrar will email you with instructions to complete the English Placement exam. (Note: If you have transfer credit for ENG120 College Writing, you will not need to take the exam.)

✓ PLAN HOW YOU’LL PAY
For assistance with your student account and how to make payment arrangements, or setting up payment, please contact Student Accounts at email@example.com to request an appointment.
✓ SUBMIT YOUR LIVING ARRANGEMENT FORM
Whether you plan to live on or off campus, all new students are required to complete this form.
✓ STUDENT HEALTH INSURANCE – WAIVE OR ENROLL
All traditional undergraduate college students who are enrolled in six or more credits must purchase health insurance through the university OR provide proof of equivalent coverage through a personal health insurance policy.
Upon registration, students will automatically be enrolled in the Multnomah University Student Health Insurance Plan, and the premium for coverage will be included with their tuition bill.
If a student has existing coverage under their parents, a spouse, or an independent plan, and does not need the coverage through the school, they are required to complete a waiver process to ensure comparable coverage each academic year. This process can only be completed online, after class registration.
Contact the Student Life Office Manager, Carlee Anglin, at firstname.lastname@example.org with questions.
✓ REVIEW THE STUDENT RESOURCES VIDEO
Hear from our staff as they share how our community will support you as an incoming student and a few tips to starting well.
