Multnomah Cruises to 4th Win in a Row with 27 Three's

PORTLAND, OREGON - February 15, 2014 - The Multnomah Lions played host to the Portland Bible College Wildcats Saturday night. Before the game, Multnomah University honored coach Jim Skagen for his 16 years of coaching at Multnomah by naming the gym court the "Jim Skagen Court".  Hundreds of alumni showed up for the special occasion.

Once the game got started it was all MU as the Lions blitzed the Wildcats by a score of 128-112. Stevie Sansone scored 35 points in 21 minutes of play by hitting on 9 of 14 three pointers. Steve Bustrin, the school's all time assist king, had 15 assists and 0 turnovers in the contest. The Lions as a team hit 27 of 57 from behind the arc. 

 

MU will face NWIC on Friday night at 7:00 for the last regular season home game of the year. MU has now won 4 in a row.
