PORTLAND, OREGON - February 5, 2014 - The Multnomah Lions played host to the Bethesda University Flames from Los Angeles on Wednesday night. The Lions lost to the Flames in early January by a score of 81-91. 
 
Both teams played well to start this game as MU was hitting from the outside and Bethesda was taking it to the basket. Multnomah put together a late first half surge behind three pointers from Davey Walker and Stevie Sansone to take a 47-39 lead. Preston Brooks nailed three treys in the first half off the bench.

The second half saw MU push the lead to 16 points, only to see Bethesda cut it to two points with 30 seconds left and the ball. Jordan Paris, who set a school record with 9 steals in the game, grabbed his 10th and deciding rebound. Steve Bustrin made both free throws to put the game away for a 92-86 win. 
 
Steve Bustrin finished with 10 assists, while Austin Feaster added 6. Davey Walker led MU in scoring with 17 points, while Stevie Sansone added 16. MU is now 5-5 in conference play with two games to go.
