B.A., UC Davis
Hired in 2022

Kristin grew up in the Bay Area in Northern California and entered university as a low-income, first-generation student at UC Davis. While pursuing her bachelor’s degree as a NCAA athlete, she also met and married her husband, Dr. Matt Farlow (also MU faculty)! She has worked in higher education as an Academic Advisor, Student Success Coach, and with Conduct and Student Services for over 11 years in the University of California system and California Community College System.

In addition to serving in leadership roles in higher education, Kristin has also spent over 15 years serving the Church in various capacities, including overseeing Children’s, Youth, and Women’s Ministries, and serving alongside her husband. Kristin and Matt have three grown children: a daughter, son-in-law, and son and recently became new grandparents. Ministry and schooling allowed Kristin and her family to live in multiple locations, including California, Oregon, Scotland, and Illinois.

Kristin enjoys working with college students, as she believes it is one of the most important developmental stages in life. She is excited to be a part of that phase here at Multnomah, where she is a part of the Student Life Team and can walk alongside students through a Christ-centered lens.
