M.A. LPCBA, Portland State

M.A., George Fox

Hired in 2018

Becca has over a decade of experience in youth ministry in the Portland area, working at a number of churches in both administrative and mentorship roles. After graduating from Portland State University in 2009, Becca started her vocation in case management and family intervention through community mental health organizations. During that time, she learned about the need for mental health workers and returned to school and completed an M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy from George Fox University. After completion of her degree in 2015, she worked in private practice in the Portland area training further in trauma therapy and working with couples and families. She accepted her position at Multnomah University because of her passion for the field of counseling and her desire to be a haven for students and to encourage healthy Christian counselors to engage in the restorative work of mental health counseling in the community.

Outside of work, Becca enjoys reading fiction, watching Blazer games, building her record collection, thrift shopping, and traveling with her family.
