2019 – 2020 Tuition & Financial Aid Overview

The information provided here pertains to graduate students enrolling at Multnomah University’s online courses for the first time in Fall 2019 or Spring 2020.

You must be enrolled in full-time credits (8+)  to be considered for Multnomah institutional financial aid, and at least half-time (4+ credits) to receive a Federal Stafford Loan. Priority consideration is given to students who are admitted and have a valid FAFSA on file by August 1.

2019 - 2020 MU Scholarships, Grants, and Loans
Multnomah University Grant
Amount Up to $8,000
Application Criteria Intended for full-time students with financial need
Deadline August 1

MU Grant is need-based and is determined by institutional methodology based on information from the FAFSA. Renewable 4 years depending on financial need.

Diversity Scholarship
Amount Up to $3,000
Application Criteria Intended for full-time students who embody Multnomah's vision for developing an intentionally diverse academic community.
Deadline April 1
Global Ministry Scholarship
Amount $7,500
Application Criteria Intended for full-time third or fourth year Global Studies majors.
Deadline April 1

Additional application required. Available for those students who are committed to serving within a missions context in under-resourced communities in developing countries around the world where there is great need. Replaces the Multnomah Grant. Applicants may reapply each year to be considered for this scholarship.

Campus Visit Scholarship
Amount $500
Application Criteria Intended for full-time students.
Deadline August 1

Available for students who have participated in a “qualified visit” to Multnomah’s Portland campus before August 1st. Determination of a “qualified visit” is made by the Admissions and Financial Aid departments. Schedule a visit or call Admissions at 800.275.4672.

MU Continuation Scholarship
Amount $1,000
Application Criteria Multnomah University graduates (undergraduate) enrolled in full-time seminary.
Deadline August 1, 2020

Must have graduated in 2009 or later. The scholarship is renewable.
