Multnomah University, across all social media platforms, has a zero-tolerance policy. This means that all hate speech[1], discrimination in any form, defamation of character, profanity, and anything threatening will not be tolerated.
We reserve the right to delete and/or report any posts/comments that contain and/or allude to any of the following:
- Profanity
- Threats/Violence
- Personal Attacks
- Derogatory and Discriminatory Language
- Spam
- Promotion of Illegal Activities
- Misinformation[2]
- Irrelevant Self-promotion
The Marketing & Communications Department reserves the right to review all associated channels and delete (or request that they are deleted) any posts that contain any of the aforementioned elements.
This policy applies to Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, Tiktok (and any other social media platforms officially in use by the University) in the context of replies and mentions, in which we reserve the right to report any replies and mentions that fall within any of the aforementioned categories.
