Multnomah
Bible College
and Biblical Seminary is pleased to introduce two special guests to this year's
Alumni Chapel: chaplains Joe Urcavich of the Green Bay Packers and Karl Payne
of the Seattle Seahawks.
Both chaplains will speak at the 10:00 alumni chapel,
followed by a question and answer time. Urcavich plans to meet with Multnomah's
varsity basketball team later in the day, while Payne responds to student
questions at the Solid Rock Café on campus.
"We're very excited to have these guys back on Multnomah's
campus, interacting with students and the media," says Michelle Peel, director
of Multnomah's Alumni Relations Department. "It's a great chance for us to be
able to highlight the many ministry opportunities available and the
possibilities that come with solid, biblical training."
Reporters will have the opportunity to interview Joe and
Karl for 50 minutes at 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
The chapel will take place on Thursday, January 25 at
Central Bible Church,
adjacent to Multnomah's campus. For more information, or to set up an interview
with Urcavich or Payne, contact Robert Leary at 503.251.6451 or rleary@multnomah.edu .
