Connect your calling to your career
At Multnomah University, we’re committed to helping you find your calling so that you can be an agent of change wherever you go. One of the ways we accomplish this is through our LINK Program.
What is Multnomah’s LINK Program?
The LINK Program is designed to connect you to businesses, nonprofits and ministry organizations that need volunteers or interns. It’s a great way for you to gain hands-on experience that builds off your classroom learning. We hope that your LINK hours lead to an internship and eventual employment in the field you feel called to.
As a Multnomah student, you’re required to accrue a specific amount of LINK hours prior to graduation. You can accumulate your hours by collaborating with LINK partners in multiple ways: Volunteer at a church, ministry, or nonprofit — or connect to a potential career by working as an intern (paid or unpaid). Our goal is to serve the local community while helping you become a successful graduate.
How do I find a LINK project?
Come to The Spiritual Life Center or email spirituallife@multnomah.edu for questions. Peruse project descriptions, connect with LINK partners and find the path that fits you best. Once you find your LINK partner, you can communicate directly with their designated site supervisor.
Site supervisors
Each LINK partner designates a site supervisor who works with you during the duration of your LINK project. Site supervisors are responsible for verifying your participation and completing an online evaluation after you complete your project.
